What Will Make KR Pork Taste Better

First pork is expected Q4 2026. Here's the case for why it should be worth the wait — clean feed, calm pigs, and conscious processing, not shortcuts.

Clean feed. Calm pigs. Conscious processing. As we bring in our first batch of pigs, we're building toward pork known for its tenderness, low fat content, and rich flavour — and that starts with how the animals are raised, not just how they're cooked.

Naturally Raised, Naturally Better

Our pigs will be fed a nutrient-dense, chemical-free diet and raised in low-stress environments — both of which directly affect the taste, tenderness, and juiciness of the meat.

No Hormones. No Shortcuts.

We won't use hormones or growth accelerants. Pigs will grow at a healthy, natural pace, which supports better muscle development and flavour.

Balanced Fat-to-Meat Ratio

A controlled diet and active outdoor space in the 70 pens are designed to give the pigs a healthy balance of lean meat and marbling fat — suited to grilling, roasting, or slow-cooking.

Ethical Processing Standards

We plan to follow strict, humane slaughtering practices that reduce stress hormones in the meat, preserving its natural taste and texture.

Freshness From Farm to Fork

Once the first batch reaches market, we intend to keep processing time to a minimum, so freshness and nutritional value are locked in.
